In spite of all the depressing news from the Gulf, today is a day to CELEBRATE the seas. To learn and endulge those aqueous tendencies that we landlubbers are forced to deny day in day out.
So go on, dive in, and connect with your local blue waters today. Feel the salt drying on your skin, hear the waves crash on the shore, delight in being weightless in your ancestral home.

Give thanks to the sea that gives us the air we breathe, the climate we can tolerate, the solace and silence we seek in solitude. And especially give thanks if your shores are free from crude, from plastic, from pollutants far and wide that tarnish too many of our beaches and marshlands.
